Terms of Use — Stay Offline

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Stay Offline mobile app (“Stay Offline,” “the App,” “we,” “us”), built and operated by Melih Toksari under the Nadril brand. By using the App you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Stay Offline helps you find real-world activities, log screen-free time, grow a streak, keep a private journey, and stay accountable with friends. The optional Screen Time promise uses Apple’s frameworks to check, on your device, whether you kept a daily limit you set for yourself. It never blocks anything and never monitors anyone else’s device.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum digital-consent age in your country. The App creates an anonymous account on first launch; you are responsible for activity on your device. Signing in with Apple or Google links that identity to the same account.

3. Subscriptions (Premium)

• Premium costs $3.99 a month or $24.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan for new subscribers. Local prices may vary.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
• Premium unlocks personalised picks, deeper stats, streak insurance and the ability to create circles. Logging time, streaks, friends and the Screen Time promise are free, and joining a circle is free.

4. Your content

Journey stories and photos are yours. You grant us the limited licence needed to store them and show them back to you — and, if you explicitly share something, to the people you share it with. Do not upload content that is unlawful or infringes anyone’s rights. You can delete any item, or your whole account, at any time.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the App: no unauthorised access, scraping, reverse engineering except where the law permits it, spamming other users with nudges or invites, or interfering with the service.

6. Activities and health

The App suggests real-world activities — crafts, outdoor pursuits, exercise and more. You take part at your own risk. Choose activities appropriate to your health, ability, surroundings and local conditions. The App offers lifestyle suggestions, not medical, safety or professional advice.

7. Fair play

Streaks and circles rely on honest logging. We may correct plainly fraudulent data where it affects other people, such as a circle’s shared goal. We will never shame you for a missed day — that is the whole point of the App.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects the mandatory consumer rights of users in the EU, the UK or elsewhere.

9. Termination

You can stop using the App or delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature survive — licences already exercised, disclaimers, limits on liability — survive termination.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms as the App evolves; material changes will be noted in the App or its release notes. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms. The current version is always at this page, dated above.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes belong to the state and federal courts in Delaware, except where the consumer-protection law of your country of residence gives you mandatory rights and venue, and except for anything handled by the App Store’s own dispute processes.
